Raising Children

What you need to know

They say you’re only as happy as your happiest child, so when one of them is facing a challenge, Honeywell is here to help. Whether helping you identify local resources, find useful information, or manage their (or your own) emotional well-being, Honeywell can support you and your family.

When your kids need help with their homework, need better studying habits or tips for test-taking success, Tutor.com has you covered. Tutors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 361 days a year. You and your immediate family can get on-demand, kindergarten-through-college tutoring in a variety of academic subjects from algebra and geometry to business law and economics.

Local resources and support

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides information about childcare services available in your area and an online library of documents about parenting issues.

In addition, you can take advantage of up to five face-to-face counseling sessions per issue — including the stress of being a caregiver — per year. Use the online resources and tools to help you be the best parent you can be.

Call a Health Advocate at 800-944-4887, option 4, or visit the website.

Substance abuse

If you or your child is struggling with substance abuse issues, contact Medical Ally. One of their representatives will connect you with the right mental health providers and treatment facilities, as well as provide additional education and support, to help you get you or your child’s life back on track. All conversations are confidential and the service is free.

  • Call 888-361-3944, option 2. Representatives are available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.
  • Visit Medical Ally. To register, enter company code Honeywell.
