Raising Children

What you need to know

They say you’re only as happy as your happiest child, so when one of them is facing a challenge, Honeywell is here to help. Whether helping you identify local resources, find useful information, or manage their (or your own) emotional well-being, Honeywell can support you and your family.

Child Care

Bright Horizons offers both in-center and in-home back up care to meet your needs. Screened in-home caregivers and care in high-quality centers is available. Care recipients may include infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children or teens. The back-up care offering is limited to 25 visits/year. Register today.

If you are looking for more than back-up care, you have preferred enrollment in Bright Horizons centers for full-time childcare. Preferred Enrollment allows you to gain access to available full-time childcare spaces in Bright Horizons centers ahead of the general community. In addition, you have a free premium Sittercity membership.

Local resources and support

In addition, you can take advantage of up to five face-to-face counseling sessions per issue — including the stress of being a caregiver — per year. Use the online resources and tools to help you be the best parent you can be.

Leadership Challenge Academy and astronaut training

Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy provides children of Honeywell employees with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through technology- and science-oriented workshops, lectures and team exercises that include astronaut training in Huntsville, Alabama. Developed in partnership with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, this program is designed to encourage high school students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

Send your child to Space Camp in 2024.

Students must be 16-18 years of age at the time of camp and have a parent or guardian who is a full-time, current employee of Honeywell.

There’s an app for that. Many of our benefits partners have mobile apps.
